Past tense — talking about a trip
The Russian past tense is easy: drop -ть from the infinitive and add -л (masc.), -ла (fem.), -ло (neut.), -ли (plural). The past tense agrees with the subject's gender and number, not person. «Я ходил» (I walked, if 'I' is male), «Я ходила» (if 'I' is female).
